Faith is Crazy (In the Best Way Possible)

faith is crazy to the physical
faith is crazy to the physical

Have you ever had that moment? You’re praying, everything is quiet, and you feel this sudden, beautiful assurance in your heart. A whisper from the Holy Spirit. A promise straight from the Lord about your future, your family, or a dream you’ve been holding onto.

It feels so real in that moment. But then... we do the thing we always do. We go and share it with someone else.

And if that person doesn't have the same level of faith, or if they aren’t looking at your life through spiritual eyes, their immediate doubt can hit you like a bucket of cold water. Suddenly, you start second-guessing what you know God told you.

Here is a reminder you might need to hear today: You aren’t crazy for holding onto what isn't visible yet.

Seeing Past the Physical

When God deposits a promise in your heart, it’s like a seed. It’s real, it’s alive, but it’s underground. If you show it to someone who only judges by worldly standards, all they see is dirt.

2 Corinthians 5:16 (NLT)  "So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now!"

When we look at our lives and our promises from a purely human point of view, we miss the entire picture. Faith requires us to look past the surface and see what God is doing in the spiritual realm.

What Happens When We Say "Amen"?

Do you actually trust that when you pray and say "Amen," things are already shifting?

We often underestimate the sheer gravity of what happens in the spiritual realm when we make petitions, fast, and pray. We want instant results in the physical world, but God is doing deep, foundational work behind the scenes to align things in our favor.

Remember the ultimate blueprint:

  • He has a plan: Jeremiah 29:11 promises us that He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future.

  • He is already moving: The moment you pray, Jesus is working on your behalf.

  • It takes time to unfold: Just because you can't see the finish line doesn't mean the race hasn't started.

Dropping Our "Custom Plans"

Let’s be honest for a second. How many of us pray, fast, and lay our requests before the Lord... and then immediately hand Him a checklist of exactly how He needs to answer it?

We tell the Lord, "Okay, I trust you, but it better look exactly like X, Y, and Z." We try to box God into our own limited imagination. But the way the Lord plans to answer your prayer is infinitely better than any custom plan you could ever manufacture for yourself.

The Takeaway: Be selective about who you trust with your God-given dreams. Guard the promises He has deposited in you. Keep praying, keep believing, and let Him surprise you with an answer that is bigger and better than anything you could have built on your own.

God Bless you all in the Mighty name of Jesus.
