📖✨ The 3rd Commandment:

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” – Exodus 20:8
This commandment is an invitation to rest with God, not just from work. It teaches us to slow down, worship, and make space for sacred rhythms. Sabbath is not just about a day—it’s about trust, alignment, and honoring God’s timing in all we do.

💬 A Gentle Note: These categories reflect stages of spiritual growth, not just age. You may be 30 and feel like a Little Arrow — or 15 and already Walking as a Witness

🔥 The Becoming (Ages 19–25)

Theme: Rest is resistance in a world of hustle

  • When you pause from your busy life, do you feel close to God—or distant?

  • In what ways do you treat Sunday (or your Sabbath) differently from other days?

  • What would it look like to trust that rest is a form of worship?

  • Are there any habits, mindsets, or people who make it hard for you to honor Sabbath?

Discernment Prompt:
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas in your life where you’ve replaced rest with striving.

👣 The Walking Witnesses (Ages 26 & Over)

Theme: Holy rest is an act of faith and obedience

  • Has your view of Sabbath changed over time? If so, how?

  • Do you associate rest with laziness or luxury—or with holiness?

  • What rhythms of rest, retreat, or renewal do you need to reclaim?

  • How might modeling Sabbath shape your children, your home, or your workplace?

Declaration:
"I will no longer glorify busyness. I will honor God through sacred rhythms of rest, renewal, and worship."

🙏 🕊️Sabbath, Rest Prayer

Lord of Rest,
You created the Sabbath for our renewal, not as a burden but as a blessing.
Teach me to slow down and make space for Your presence.
Quiet the noise within me, and draw me into rhythms that restore my soul.
Help me to honor You, not just in my work—but in my rest.
Amen.
