Faith at the End of Days: What Jesus Still Seeks

ree

šŸŒ The Strangest Time in History — The Time We Are Living Now

Why do I call this the strangest time in history? Because this is our first life — our one chance to live faithfully in the truth and time we’ve been given.

Historically speaking, ā€œthe end timesā€ and ā€œthe raptureā€ aren’t new ideas to humanity. Every generation has believed the end was near. Yet, we are the only ones living thisĀ moment — and how we live it matters.

šŸ” A Question That Shakes the Heart

Jesus once asked something that has never left my spirit:

ā€œNevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on Earth?ā€ā€” Luke 18:8

This question has stirred deeply in me. Many believers often say, ā€œI’m ready for Christ’s return!ā€Ā or ā€œRapture me up!ā€

(For the record — I personally do notĀ believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, but that’s not today’s focus.)

šŸ’” The True Focus: The Attitude of Christ

Let’s turn our eyes to Philippians 2:1-2, 12-18 (NLT)

ā€œHave the Attitude of Christā€

1–2:Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

ā€œShine Brightly for Christā€

12–13:Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.
14–18:Do everything without complaining or arguing... Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

(Let this whole chapter be your meditation.)

āš”ļø The Faith That Amazed Jesus

When Jesus asked if He would find faith on Earth, He had already marveledĀ at one man’s faith — the Centurion in Matthew 8:8:

ā€œLord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.ā€

The Centurion trusted the authority of Christ’s word. He understood divine order — that when Jesus speaks, things move.

Do we have that kind of faith today?

šŸ’” When Adults Are Just Hurt Children

If we began to see adults as hurt children — people who are walking through life for the first time, often carrying unhealed wounds — our hearts might soften with compassion.

Even within the Church, many experience church hurt: from poor catechesis, prideful leadership, or unfaithful witnesses — yet even they are wounded childrenĀ trying their best to walk with God.

When we view the Church as a hospital for sinners, mercy flows more freely. Everyone needs Christ, whether they realize it or not.

šŸ¤ One Spirit, One Mind, One Purpose

So, let’s reflect:

  • Have we truly come alongside others the way ChristĀ has come alongside us?

  • Are we operating in one Spirit, one mind, one purpose?

  • When Christ looks at our generation, will He find faith like the Centurion’s — or will He find hearts distracted by control, fear, or pride?

šŸŒ¬ļø Breath Prayer

Breathe in:Ā Holy Spirit, come. Exhale:Ā Tell me where I need to grow.(Repeat 3x)

Let this be your rhythm today —Faith that listens, faith that obeys, faith that shines.
